Next, you'll want to prepare your charms by attaching a large jump ring to the charm loop and another large jump ring to the jump ring that you've just attached. Any charms that are actually beads, (both the large and the small shell) you'll need to create a loop at the top (to convert the bead to a drop/charm) by using headpins.
Once you have all of your charms ready, you can begin to add these to the bracelet design. You'll just slide them on (the second jump ring you've attached) the flexible wire, nested between 2 of the heishi spacers. |
Going back to the stringing, you can slide on your first charm. In this case, we used a small charm since we're going to attach two more small charms to the loop of the toggle ring with jump rings. Proceed with stringing the pearl beads, Swarovski crystal beads, various pewter beads and charms until you have the desired look. At the end, you'll want to string on another snail pearl bead and an end cone before attaching the toggle bar with crimps.
To create the design above you will need the following items
Copper Headpins ((1 package) - you'll need these to convert some of the beads into charms/drops)
