Make a Drop Necklace with Swarovski Beads

Create this elegant drop necklace easily by using Chain by-the-foot, swarovski crystal beads and other jewelry making supplies.

Start with a sterling silver headpin  and slide on a plated pewter open beadwith a 6mm round Swarovski crystal bead  encased.  Then slide on 3mm sterling silver seamless round bead and another pewter open bead with a Swarovski crystal inside on the headpin.  Use 22 gauge head pins - these components are heavier and you'll have better control and a sturdier jewelry piece with the 22 gauge.

Create a loop at the top.  Choose a larger link chain by-the-foot and attach this component to the chain using either a jump ring or a split ring.  We recommend either the 3.7 mm sterling silver flat cable chain or Sterling Silver Twisted Oval Link Chain.  Attach a hook and eye clasp, lobster clasp or round box clasp.
