Create Falling Star Earrings

These sparkling earrings remind me of the trail of a comet or a falling star - hence the name of the earrings.  To create these you'll need the items listed at the bottom of the page.

Begin by making all six cut tube earring components.  Use 24 gauge head pins for this project - they're thin enough to bend to the curved tube pieces.  Starting with the middle component, slide a 3mm bead followed by the Swarovski Flat Round crystal, followed by another 3mm bead, a 5mm straight cut tube and yet another 3mm bead on a headpin.

Make a loop at the top and close the loop.

The second component is the same order with the exception of the tube bead. Substitute a 15mm curved cut tube for the straight tube.

The last component follows the same design except that you will follow the 15mm curved cut tube with a 3mm bead and a 10mm curved cut tube and another 3mm bead. You'll need to do these components twice - one for each earring.

Attach a 4mm jump ring to a Sterling Silver lever back. Then attach each component using 4mm jump rings to the jump ring you've just attached to the lever back.  Arrange the components as shown in the picture.
