THE FIVE STRAND ANTIQUE GOLD & MALACHITE  BRACELET

Before beginning, if the Malachite Beads are not currently in stock, consider using 4mm Green Aventurine Beads, 4mm Garnet Beads, 4mm Black Onyx Beads, or  4mm Lapis Beads (all of these work well with either the gold or the silver finish components).   Begin this bead design by attaching five strands of Soft Flex beading wire to the pewter jewelry connector and secure the flexible wire with crimp tubes.  Be sure to use strands that are long enough to complete the project - always allow for a couple of inches extra - you'd rather have extra wire than be short.  Trim away the excess pieces of bead wire that you don't need and cover the crimp with a gold crimp cover.    Start by stringing a pewter bead cap, followed by a malachite beads and pearl beads with two bead caps (going in opposite directions) between each, except next to the bead spacer bar - there use none.   The color of the Malachite gemstones and the Antique gold findings will really make the pearl beads "pop", especially if you use white or cream colored pearls. Continue stringing all 5 strands and attach them to the other connector, just as you did when you started the bracelet.     The size of the bracelet from one jewelry connector to the other is exactly 6", not including the clasp.  The pewter vine hook and eye clasp will add an additional 1 1/4" when connected with a jump rings. With that said, you may want to eliminate one of the beaded rows if you have a tiny wrist since this bracelet should not fit too loosely, or it will look droopy.  After attaching the hook and eye clasp, you may want, as we did, to add a few of the pewter vine links to create an extender.  That gives it a finished look and allows it to be worn by others with larger wrists.  To do this, just attach these links to the end of the clasp eye with jump rings.
