Stringing a Bead Frame Drop Necklace
A bead stringing instructional tutorial show you how to make a drop necklace using bead frames, Swarovski crystals and spacer beads. Begin the project by cutting a 27" piece of Soft Flex or Soft Touch beading wire. If you like to have plenty of wire at the end of the project, (so that you're not working with a small amount of wire at the end) cut a few more inches - you can trim away the excess at the end. Holding the cut ends together in one hand, grab the center of the beading wire with your other hand - folding the wire in half. Take the folded center and slide a crimp tube on the end. Before crimping the tube, make sure the wire is inside the tube (to the end of the tube) but don't let a tail of the wire hang out the other end. Once you've crimped the tube, use a 3mm crimp cover to form a bead over the crimp tube.
Once you've crimped the tube, use a 3mm crimp cover to form a bead over the crimp tube. Now you'll string (using both pieces of wire) the spacers that will go between each bead frame. The spacer pattern is (1) 4mm Heishi Spacer/Daisy Spacer, followed by (1) 4mm Rococo Rondelle Spacer, followed by another 4mm Heishi Spacer.
Then string the bead and bead frame followed by the spacer pattern and repeat this two more times. Since you'll be separating the wires at this point, and you want a smooth transition, you'll want to string a 2mm Silver Round on each wire followed by a 3mm Heishi, followed by the spacer pattern. Now you can go back to the bead frames.

Continue to alternate the bead frames with the spacer pattern until you have 12 bead frames on each wire. At this point you should be close to the end of the wire on each side, unless you allowed for additional wire, but you'll need to do the spacer pattern once more for each side. Attach the clasp by sliding on a crimp tube, then the clasp, and go back through the crimp tube and using crimping pliers, close the crimp. To finish off the piece, use crimp covers on each side to hide the crimp tubes.
To create the design above you will need the following items
Swarovski Oval Beads (total 27 - 14 of one color and 13 of another color or any color arrangement that you want)
