String Beads to Make a Garnet Gem Stone Necklace

This necklace is perfect for January birthstone babies. You can create this beautiful Garnet gemstone, pearl and silver bead necklace by following the same simple steps as in beading project 1. Beading project 1 shows you a basic bead stringingtechnique in a step-by-step guide that has photos. The focal points of this necklace are the 3 sterling silver gemstone beads. Here we've used the Garnet gemstone beads. If red isn't your color, consider using Peridot or Amethyst as we have these gemstones available in both the silver gemstone beads and the Semi-precious strands. These new Sterling Silver 2 layer spacer beads are used between the 8mm Czech Glass Pearl Beads.

Sterling Silver Gemstone Beads - Garnet (3)

4mm Czech Pearl Beads (1 strand)

8mm Czech Glass Pearl Beads (1strand)

6mm Czech Snail Pearls (1 strand)

Sawrovski Beads - 4mm Bicone Crystal Beads (2 - crystal and 4 - jet)

Sterling Silver Bali Spacer Beads (1 package)

Sterling Silver Daisy Spacers 4mm (2 packages)

Sterling Silver Bali Bead Caps (2)

Silver Oxidized Two Layer Rings - use these as spacer beads (14)

Sterling Silver Crimp Tubes (1 package)

Sterling Silver Twisted Oval Toggle Clasp (1)

Soft Touch Beading Wire in either 0.019 diameter or 0.024 diameter (1)
