Diamond Drop Necklace
Begin this project by placing one of the diamond beads on a decorative head pin and make a loop at the top (you can either do a plain loop or wrap around the loop with the excess wire of the head pin). Attach a jump ring to each loop and close the jump rings. Don't skip this step - if you try to string these diamond components without the jump ring (using only the loop you've created) the diamonds will not lay correctly.
This necklace is 17 inches - you may want yours to be longer so cut an ample amount of Soft Flex beading wire. Always leave yourself at least a few extra inches to work with. I typically use a bead board and work from the center out and that's how I'll explain this design.

Looking at the photo, sting your beads in a similar pattern. When stringing the diamond components, you'll string the closed jump ring just like you would a bead by sliding the jump ring on the wire between two Bali spacer beads. Putting the Sterling Silver spacer beads on both sides of the jump ring of the diamond component, will give it a more seamless look.
Continue stringing from the center of the necklace out. This way, you when you feel you've reached the desired length, you can hold the necklace against your neckline and this will give you an idea of where you want the necklace to lay.
Once you're satisfied with the length, attach your clasp and toggle using the Sterling Silver crimp beads. If you're looking for a beginning tutorial on bead stringing and attaching a clasp click here.
