Gothic Rock 'n' Roll Necklace
This Gothic necklace jewelry design can be worn alone or layered with Gunmetal chain for a great look. Here we've used some 8mm AB Crystal Swarovski beads to soften the look that many Goth jewelry pieces have.
Here we've used some 8mm AB Crystal Swarovski beads to soften the look that many Goth jewelry pieces have. The necklace is 18 1/2" inches in length. To begin assembling it, you'll want to make the components first. Using the eye pins, slide on a 5mm beaded spacer, a 10mm Czech Glass Pearl (we used Montana but Black and Hematite will work well too), followed by another 5mm spacer. Create a loop using round-nose pliers and cut off any excess wire. You'll need to make 5 more of these pearl bead components. Do the same arrangement for the Swarovski crystal beads and make a total of 4.
Slide a Pamada bead on an eye pin and make a loop at the top. Do the same for the Skull bead. Make one more of each since you'll need 2 of each component. Start connecting the components like shown in the photo by attaching one jump ring to a component and two jump rings to that jump ring. Then, on the other side of the two jump rings, use one jump ring to attach another component. |

That (1 jump ring, 2 jump ring, 1 jump ring) pattern should be used to attach all of the components except the Pamada bead and the Skull bead which only use one jump ring for attachment from the pearl component.

At the center of the necklace you can attach a the Byzantine Cross using another large jump ring (this jump ring should attach to the double jump rings in the center. Since you can't see the last components (which are the pearl components) from the photo, you'll want to attach those and using the jump ring pattern, attach your toggle clasp as shown in the second photo. Congrats... you're finished. |
